Mary Erlain is an Executive Vice President of LMI-Riverside as well as President of Peak Marketing & Sales, Inc. Mary brings her diverse background in medicine, financial services and sales/marketing together as a business coach. She started working in the medical industry where she honed her coaching skills working with patients. Her passion was clinical medicine where she could work more closely with individual patients and develop long-term relationships.
Mary left the medical industry to work in financial services where she was licensed both in insurance and securities. She enjoyed working closely with business owners and their families developing their financial plans. Mary also was certified in a unique product offering that focused on business owners and succession planning.
Mary embarked on a career in coaching. She received certification in sales training and coaching. Mary is the owner and president of Peak Marketing & Sales, Inc., a business coaching and consulting firm she started in 2007. Her passion is working with small to medium businesses. She continues to design and facilitate customized workshops and one-to-one coaching to address the specific needs of each client. She has in-depth knowledge of the market and has a vast network of experts that can benefit anyone, in any field. She keeps her clients focused on their goals and what it takes to grow their business. She is also very aware of the real world and helps to address those everyday issues which would slow others down.
Since 2007, Mary has collaborated with Ray Stuchly of Leadership Management Institute’s LMI-Riverside. Leadership Management Institute (LMI) is an international firm with 50 years of experience helping individuals and organizations enhance performance and improve productivity by tapping into their true potential. LMI is dedicated to developing effective leaders through its Performance Enhancing Services. Recently, Mary accepted the position of Executive Vice President of LMI-Riverside.
As a trained public speaker, Mary facilitates the Peak Workshop series. These workshops have been developed to address the changes and challenges in the current marketplace. Mary has the capacity to deliver these workshops to businesses in conjunction with her coaching. She will also develop these for associations and networking organizations as a presentation to their membership. Topics include: “LinkedIn®-Hands-On Workshops, “Making Economic Uncertainty Work for You,” “Strategic Networking”, and “Serial Prospects – the Pipeline Killers.”
Mary has expertise in territory sales, major account sales, sales team development, sales management, sales training and new product positioning in addition to the recruitment of new business sales professionals. She has successfully managed, mentored and trained many successful sales people and managers during her career. This career has spanned more than 25 years with brand recognition in Cole Taylor Bank, CENTA Corporation, Pizzo & Associates, Ltd. and Select Graphics and Stanton Architects. She has mentored professionals in the small, middle market and large corporations which give her a depth and breadth of knowledge of the challenges companies face in today’s market.
Mary and her husband Dave, live in Naperville, Illinois where they raised their 3 children, Caryn, Jim and Bill. She is a member of the American Association of University Women. Mary owns Peak Networking Groups. She served on the Leadership Team in the National Association of Women Business Owners as well as on the Board of Friends of DuPage County Animal Care and Control. Mary is a past Chair of the Business Solutions Network group. She is an active member in the Business Growth Consortium. Mary still retains her lines of insurance licenses from her financial services career along with her Registered Nurse license.
